On April 23, Mr. Subhas Gujadhur, Deputy Head of Mission of Mauritius in China, paid a visit to the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) in Beijing. At this meeting, the Director-General of Liaison and Events Dept of WTCF Chen Bo spoke with Subhas Gujadhur on the details of WTCF’s conception, development, its major activities, and cooperation projects, such as the Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit, regional forums, academic research and reports.
Subhas Gujadhur addressed the friendly relations between China and Mauritius, the geographical environment, history, culture and administrative regions of Mauritius. He stressed that the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority attaches great importance to the tourism market in China and that the relevant departments are vigorously preparing to facilitate the visit of Chinese tourists and other travelers who have received the Chinese vaccine.
The two parties discussed specific matters of cooperation and decided to deepen mutual cooperation for tourism recovery in the ‘new normal’.
