Geological Museum in Copenhagen includes a number of geological collections. At the museum you can see objects such as rocks, minerals, meteorites and fossils.
At Geological Museum you can explore and discover more about the Solar system and the Earth, and the forces of nature which have shaped our own planet and life upon it through millions of years.
You can see minerals from all over the world, one of the world's best meteorite collections, a piece of the moon brought home by Apollo 17, fossillised animals, plants and the geological evolution of Denmark and Greenland.
The museum's collections have roots dating back to the 1600s and the Royal Cabinet of Curiosities. Here is geological collections from adventurous expeditions to distant worlds.
