From 24 to 31 August 2014, more than one thousand athletes from all over the world will come to Amsterdam for the premier rowing event of the year: the World Rowing Championships.

Celebrating sports and culture

The championships feature a total of 27 events, including five para-rowing events. Non-rowers can join in the fun, too: the programme will be completed by various music performances and sports-related activities, plus food stalls, beer gardens and picnic areas.
