World Cinema Amsterdam brings indoor and open-air screenings to the Rialto cinema and nearby Marie Heinekenplein. For nearly two weeks in August, fans of international cinema are truly in for a treat!

World Cinema Amsterdam

Celebrating the many exceptional films made in Latin America, Asia and Africa, World Cinema Amsterdam screens more than 40 feature-length and short films alongside an extensive programme of Q&A sessions, masterclasses, debates and parties. In order to accommodate all the action, the festival traditionally also includes two additional locations: De Balie and the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre.
