This campsite is situated in the Kinselmeer nature reserve. On one side is the Kinselmeer (lake) and on the other the IJsselmeer, making the campsite especially suitable for water sports or fishing fans. Surrounded by typically Dutch villages like Volendam, Marken and Durgerdam it's also the perfect way to get a taste for the Dutch way of life. What's more, the city itself is never far away. The cycle network between the campsite and the centre of Amsterdam (via the district of Noord) is not only scenic but safe, used daily by locals for both work commutes and leisure trips.
