Bo Cinq occupies a long space that stretches from the Prinsengracht to the Leidsedwarsstraat, creating a remarkably roomy interior by Amsterdam standards. It's a popular spot to meet for a drink as well as enjoy a complete dinner. The space is divided into two lounge areas – one focused on food and the other on drinks. You'll also find an impressive 24-meter long bar where they serve cocktails and light snacks.
Bo Cinq was established by Casper Reinders (owner of Jimmy Woo and Suzy Wong nightclubs) and Farid Asserti (owner of Moroccan restaurant Mamouche). The interior was designed by Paul Lelieveld, who combined vintage furniture with wood and brick accents and an extensive art collection. There’s even a dedicated lounge for smokers.
The menu features a mix of French and Middle Eastern influenced dishes, prepared under the guidance of head chef Mohammed Mahraoui. Their specialties include grilled shrimp, marinated lamb shank and fish tajine.
