Larnaca International Airport (IATA: LCA) is the closest airport to Nicosia and lies about 60km (37.2m) away on the southern coast. There are up to 30 daily bus shuttle services that run between the airport and Nicosia, non-stop and cost approximately €5. Taxis are also readily available, as well as private car hire companies.
Pafos International Airport (PFO)is Cyprus’ secondary airport and lies approximately 98.6km (61.2m) southeast of Nicosia. Nicosia is easily reached from Pafos via bus shuttle, private car hire or taxi.
Nicosia (Nicosia) International Airport (IATA: NIC) was the principal airport of Cyprus. As a result of the Turkish Invasion in 1974, Turkey came to occupy the north part of the island. NIC lies directly in the United Nations Buffer Zone separating the occupied areas from free areas of Cyprus. NIC Airport has been inoperable since 1974 and currently is under the control of UNFICYP, serving as the force's headquarters.
