Thalia in the Gaussstrasse

At Thalia in der Gaussstrasse in Altona the focus is on new works, newly discovered authors, young directors and the proven new forms of theatre and aesthetics. The selection of works is also strongly influenced by Altona's creative melting pot of workers, artists and a cross-cultural middle class. The famous festival "Körber Studio Junge Regie, " has been able to show young directing talent from Germany, Austria and Switzerland annually since 2003. The festival is a springboard for young theatrical talent and has become a flagship for Hamburg.
