Germany's most popular snack stand treat - the currywurst - shines with new splendour at Curry Queen.
The owners dare to dub their creation the "world's finest currywurst". That sounds like a huge undertaking, but what is served here is really a masterfully successful variation of the classic. Only fine veal sausages are used instead of cheap imitators and the stale sausage fryer is replaced by low-fat preparation using the lava grill. The sausage is then finished with one of the six curry powders made in-house, created exclusively by Michelin-starred chef Ingo Holland. Those who aren't after gems from the grill can also appreciate the Sylt lamb sausages on a bed of lettuce or try one of the seasonal specials that change daily.
