The SIDE Design Hotel is in the heart of Hamburg, situated between the Musikhalle, the Hamburg State Opera, Planten un Blomen and the Alster Lake. The central location allows guests to discover the city sights and shopping arcades by foot. Architecture, design and color make up the design concept of the 11-storied, luxury hotel down to the last detail. The SIDE Design Hotel has 178 rooms, all equipped with queen-size beds, flat screen television, entertainment system, minibar, room safe, air conditioning, two telephones, telefax and modem connection, floor heating in the bathroom and three hours of free Internet access. The hotel has rooms for smokers.

The hotel restaurant “[m]eatery” specializes in fine beef dishes. The color design carries through to the hotel “SPA inSIDE” featuring a gym, swimming pool, Finnish sauna, solarium, aroma steam bath and treatment rooms. Nine variable conference rooms, among them the “Sky Lounge” on the eighth floor with a roof terrace overlooking Hamburg, can accommodate up to 300 guests.
