Seoul National Cemetery is a park cemetery where men who made significant contributions to their country are laid to rest. The cemetery was founded in order to venerate their patriotism and the teachings left by the deceased. It is a nation's duty to commemorate the martyred patriots who sacrificed their lives for the development of their country. Seoul National Cemetery is a place held sacred to the nation. It was built for conveying the patriotism of these men to their descendants.
