Herb Park and Gildong Ecological Park - Gangdong Family Campground

Located at the skirts of Iljasan (Mountain) in Gangdong-gu Gil-dong, Gangdong Family Campground offers 8 auto camping sites for those who are fully equipped with camping gear, and 49 sites for those that just require a tent rental. Although it is much smaller than the other campgrounds, campers can enjoy the sights and fragrance of summer flowers and herbs at the Herb Park during the day, and gaze into the nightsky during the night.

An Abandoned School Reborn - Starlight Village Campground

Opening on July 7, 2013, the Starlight Village Campground is Seoul City's newest campground. Seoul City has put life back into an adbandoned school campus in Gangwon-do Hoengseong-gun. Located just 2 hours from Seoul, the campground is close enough to get to, but far enough from any hint of urban city lights. If you're from an urban city, you will be amazed at the number stars in the nightsky from here.

Price is 23,000 won/night for families of 4~5. Matress, grills, tables, ping pong tables, outdoor health facilities are all free of charge. (Reservation: 2133-3923)
