Tel-Aviv's 16th Gay Pride Parade Looks to be another Huge Success.
Tel-Aviv's annual Gay Pride Parade will be held on Friday June 13th, as part of a weeklong celebration of the gay community. Tel-Aviv's 16th annual Pride Week kicks off on June 8th and continues until Saturday June 14th.
At Gan Meir, you'll find a unique gay community center where there will be live music and carnival-like stalls set up at the start of the parade. The parade will buzz with loud music, outrageous costumes, large carnival floats, flags and dancing in the streets. From Gan Meir, the parade sets off and proceeds through the city along Bograshov Street and Ben Yehuda Street, culminating at Gordon Beach. Where the parade ends - the party begins! Gordon Beach becomes an all night party, from 2pm onwards. There will be guest DJs, and a carnival atmosphere with revelers dressed in their most outrageous outfits.
There are more than 50 events planned for Pride Week Tel-Aviv, not to mention the fact that Tel-Aviv already has 24 hour nightlife, plenty of gay nightclubs and bars, a gay beach, excellent restaurants and tons of attractions. Among the events planned there are dance parties, pool parties, food festivals, tours, fashion shows and beach parties.
