You don't have to look far in Tel-Aviv to find interesting and unique stores lining the streets.

For bargains there are several open-air markets like the Carmel Market, Jaffa Market and the arts and crafts market along Nachlat Benjamin. For exclusive designer wear, or just to stare through the store windows and very expensive items, visit Kikar HaMedina, a huge traffic circle lined with boutiques. But if you want some Western-style retail therapy then check out the many ultra-modern shopping centers.

Ramat Aviv Mall, 40 Einstein Street boasts about 140 stores as well as restaurants and places of entertainment. It is known as one of the most exclusive and up-market malls in the city. The enormous Azrieli Center is in one of city's tallest towers. The stores cover 3 floors and there are restaurants, cinemas and a train station right next to the mall entrance. Dizengoff Center Mall is the most conveniently located Tel-Aviv malls, between Dizengoff Street, King George Street and Tchernichovsky. There are 5 floors here with 223 stores. Gan Ha'Ir shopping center on Ibn Gvirol Street right nest to Rabin Square is one of the smaller city malls. Ayalon Mall in nearby Ramat Gan is an upscale, large mall with entertainment, restaurants and plenty of parking. HaTachana is the newest shopping center in Tel-Aviv; it is housed in a converted historic train station just off Hamered Street before the entrance to Jaffa.
