Mudanjiang city, nicknamed “Snow City'', and Xuexiang, named “Snow Town”, are where visitors can go to appreciate the best snowy scenery in Mudanjiang. Here, it snows seven months out of the year. The snow can get as deep as two meters and forms various shapes on the roofs, the fences and woodpiles. The snow makes the village a fairy tale world.

Transportation:

There are two routes from Mudanjiang city to Snow Valley. Visitors can travel from Mudanjiang city to Changting and then to Snow Town, It is a 205 kilometer journey. It then takes another 13.7 kilometers to arrive at the snow valley. Visitors can also travel from Mudanjiang city to Yabuli first before traveling along Ya-xue highway to reach the snow valley. This route is 240 kilometers.
