Donghu Sea World is the national science popularization education base and one of the few large-scale sea world theme parks in an inland city. Exhibits include over ten thousand marine fish of more than one thousand species.

Sea World is home to ten kinds of first-class and second-class protected animal species like the Yangtze alligator, Chinese sturgeon, giant salamander, and 100 foreign valuable and rare fish species.

The park features tours, educational activities, recreation, restaurants and shopping.

Ticket price: 70 yuan ($12), half price for children under 1.2 meters, military personnel in active service and old people over 60. 50 yuan ($9) for students with an identity card.
