National Horse Base “Khan Asparouh” is located in Sofia and covers a total area of 110 decares.The complex offers three stables for 137 sports horses, three sand manoeuvering grounds and one grass manouevering ground. The equipment meets all the requirements of the International Federation.

There is also a riding hall with a capacity of 100 spectators. Its size is 40/80 meters, it is fully equipped. There is lighting and air-conditioning.

The service buildings offer changing rooms with wardrobes, toilets, bath rooms, coach rooms, one banian hospital, smithy, storehouses for hay, straw and oats, carpenter’s shop and shop for horse-trappings.

The base offers a hall for general physical trainging, a rehabilitation centre, sauna, fitness, massage tables.

In addition to the complex, there is a shooting gallery for modern pentathlon and halls for fencing and badminton.

In order to make the stay of every visitor more comfortable, there are two restaurants with 100 seats each and two cafes. There is also a guarded parking lot with capacity for 50 cars.
