The Museum of the 1911 Revolution is one of the national AAAA tourist areas and a key cultural relic protection unit. This cultural landmark in Shouyi, Wuhan is hailed as the Gate of the Republic of China and is sometimes also known as the Red Mansion by local residents. It also serves as a national youth education base, and overseas Chinese patriotic education base and is considered one of the national top 100 patriotic education demonstration bases.
