The city of Tianjin holds an international beer festival every July to attract more foreign brands and to give more international enterprises and investors an opportunity to get to know the city and increase economic and trade exchanges for greater development everywhere. The people of Tianjin also get an opportunity to experience foreign cultures and get to know them better. The festival has a wide variety of activities, including fireworks, an art show, a music fountain, beer-drinking contests, and beer knowledge contest.
