Nareng, or hand-grasping mutton noodles, is a special food of the ethnic groups of Kazakhstan and Kirgiz. It is usually used to serve honored guests.
The dish contains both meat and noodles, which make it convenient as a meal. It is also quite easy to prepare. First, you chop the mutton (with bones) into big cubes and boil them. Second, you chop the big cubes into much smaller cubes. At the same time, you can cut the onions into tiny pieces too, place them into bowls and mix them with salt. You then pour some bouillon into the onion. Third, you make thin skin from flour and cut it into pieces. Finally, you put the pieces and meat cubes into a big pan and add the onion sauce to it.
