Home to the great Five Peaks of the Xiaodongjiang River, and littered with steep peaks, Osmanthus trees and winding rivers, the Chunshan Hill scenic area provides no greater place to relax and gawk at its unparalleled beauty.
The national-level AAAA scenic area has so-far collected two Guinness World Records; one for the “Tashan Mountain with Clear Reflection”, a small, steep hill with a Ming Dynasty hexagonal pagoda on top that towers over the Dongjiang river below; and the “Stone Shield”, a formation of four shield-like calcium deposits grown on the same stalactite over 200,000 years ago in the Chuanshan (Pierced Mountain).
Slogan: One Chuanshan Hill Scenic Area, two Guinness World Records.
