Located in the west bank of Lijiang River in the center of Guilin, Riverside Scenic Area has a total area of 50.31 hectares and comprises of Folded Brocade (die cai) Hill Park, Fubo (wave subduing) Park, Banyan Lake (Rong Lake), Cedar Lake (Shan Lake), Osmanthus Lake (Gui Lake) and other famous scenic spots. With its green mountains and clear water, the area is known as one of the best places to experience serene nature in China.

Features of the scenic area: Folded Brocade (die cai) Hill faces Lijiang River on the east. It traces back over thousand years ago to the Tang Dynasty (618-907), when Yuan Hui, a military governor of Guilin, vigorously developed this scenic spot, integrating natural and cultural landscapes. From the Moon Peak, the main peak of Folded Brocade (die cai) Hill and the highest peak of Guilin, you can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the whole city.

Fubo Hill Scenic Area is located on the west bank of Lijiang River, covering 0.86 hectares, and integrates mountains, rivers, caves, rock formations and cultural relics.
