Lijiang Bay Scenic Area is situated in Qingshan town, Lipu county, Guilin, and is 60 kilometers from Yangshuo. It might well be an unpardonable sin not to stop by whilst on the way to the popular Fengyu Cave.

The large scenic site is built according to national AAAA standards and has received a total investment of 25 million yuan. The 30-square-kilometer site comprises of six sightseeing areas and nine tourist spots.

Lijiang Bay is recognized as “the river of all rivers and the mountain of all mountains”, and is claimed to be “the best waterfront view in Guilin”. Its caves are said to be the Jiuzhaigou Valley in the form of cave for its stunning beauty.

At Lijiang Bay, there are chances to explore the relics of the ancient Yongsuli Man site or to take a boat to see the mountain murals – natural formations somewhat resembling fairies, Chinese dragons and nude women. Completely crafted by nature, these lifelike murals are highly coincidental. Scores of journalists have come to Lijiang Bay to report on the murals. Stories can be found on Chinanews.com, Guilin Evening Post and Guangxi TV.
