Guilin pepper sauce, a specialty from Guilin, has a history of around 100 years. The Chili Sauce has been awarded several times as the top quality and brand product of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guilin Municipal City. It also receives a great demand from Southeast Asian countries.

The pepper sauce has different varieties according to which ingredients are used, such as the minced garlic pepper sauce, or the fermented soybeans and minced garlic pepper sauce. Fresh, spicy, and mellow, this sauce can either be used as a seasoning or eaten alone.
