On December 9th, 2020, Chen Dong, Secretary-General of World Tourism Cities Federation attended the Global Tourism Economy Forum·Macao 2020 online.
On September 5th, the World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development and was the only conference held by international organizations during the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services.
In March 2012, the World Tourism Cities Federation was established, with 58 members initially. Among them, 47 were cities members and 11 institutional members.
We believe that rains and storms are always followed by sunshine, and the difficulties we are facing now are temporary and short-lived. As long as we maintain confidence, work in unity, take science-based and targeted measures, we will win the global battle against COVID-19.
On Jan 8th, 2020, World Tourism Cities Federation(WTCF) and Tourism Research Center, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (TRC-CACC) jointly released the Report on World Tourism Economy Trends (2020).
On November 15th, the Asia Leaders Forum 2019 of World Travel & Tourism Council was held in Shanghai, China.
