Bahamas Ministry of Tourism/Aviation hosts global virtual programs to attract tourism

Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation has announced it is hosting virtual sales missions in the US and Canada during quarantine in an effort to continue promoting tourism in The Islands Of The Bahamas, the ministry said.

Without the ability to host face-to-face interactions, the Ministry of Tourism pivoted to launching and participating in online events such as webinars, virtual travel shows, virtual trip simulations and live social media sessions.

BMOT brought together all of its international partners in the US and Canada for two days of virtual meetings.

With over 700 islands and cays, and 15 of the 16 unique island destinations currently open for business, The Bahamas lies just 50 miles off the coast of Florida, offering an easy fly away escape that transports travelers away from their everyday.
