【Introduction】:First among the Italian airports, the Roman airport has in fact obtained a decidedly higher score for the quality of the services provided, with excellent results especially for the variety and availability of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as play areas dedicated to children.
To provide an overview of the most “passenger-friendly” airports in Europe, the web platform for booking travel throughout Europe Omio analyzed the main airports across 30 European capital cities, evaluating their comfort and convenience based on 17 factors, including connections with the city center, the number of shops, bars and restaurants available to travelers, the presence of hotels, relaxation areas, public charging stations and pharmacies, the number of daily air passengers, traffic congestion and the average price of a taxi.
In this special study, the Leonardo da Vinci airport – for some years at the top of the rankings of various international associations – ranked second in Europe, behind only Madrid-Barajas.
