New Orleans is a popular tourist city in the United States and at the same time it is very unique. It is the center of history, culture and entertainment with rich food and night life. The rhythm of jazz is permeated on every corner and architecture in French or Spanish style can be seen everywhere. Mardi Gras Music Carnival which is held in every February and March for several weeks will attract more than one million participants.

"New Orleans is an important area in our plan and we have been waiting for the right opportunity to settle in this vibrant city." said John Davison, President and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “We and our partner Carpenter&Company enter this market in an appropriate state, opening hotels and private residences in the heart of the city, then provide guests with the best services from Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.”

Richard L. Friedman, President and CEO of Carpenter & Company, said "We are very excited about the new project that will be open in New Orleans, and it has witnessed the transformation of this area from the historic World Trade Center to a premium lifestyle experience center. We have been working with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for many years and the most recent project is the one at 1 Dalton Street in Boston. I believe they are a partner who can help us create a superior luxury lifestyle and provide quality services to our guests and owners.

After a major renovation, the World Trade Center will be equipped with new platforms and public areas, and a 341-room hotel and 92 private residences on the top floor of the building.
