【Introduction】:As the world’s first international tourism organization focusing on cities, with booth set up, the World Tourism Cities Federation was invited to the Expo throughout the duration of the whole event and will provide a complimentary exhibition and negotiation areas for its members, which can be used for publicity, promotion, negotiations, sales of tourism products, and so forth.
The 2019 International Horticultural Exhibition being held in Beijing, China is an A1-category expo. It will be held from April 29 to October 7 under the theme "Live Green, Live Better.” There are 86 countries and 24 international organizations participating, with 16 million visitors expected to attend throughout the expo. As one of the invited international organizations, the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) is participating for the duration of the event. At the expo, the organization provides a complimentary exhibition and negotiation areas for its members, which can be used for publicity, promotion, consultations and sales of tourism products. The WTCF holds a variety of additional tourism trade fairs and special promotion meetings, and many members have joined the activities at this year’s Expo.
The WTCF Exhibition Area
On May 28, the first WTCF Tourism Promotional Conference and Media Publicity Day were successfully held at the International Horticultural Expo. 100 representatives from various cities in South America and Asia, plus domestic travel agencies and members from media organizations, participated in the day. Ramon Antonio, the mayor of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, Nurullaev Batirjon, the vice mayor of Samarkand in Uzbekistan, and Gonzalo Robredo, the president of the Buenos Aires City Tourism Board, addressed the event. Afterwards, WTCF city members, travel agencies and media representatives held business discussions and promoted city tourism resources.

Since the horticultural expo opened in April, the WTCF has distributed over 60,000 promotional materials, while more than 200,000 individuals have visited the WTCF exhibition. Dozens more members are expected to join the WTCF's exhibition stand in the future.
