The Seventh Chaoshan Mountain Plum Festival Opened

Yesterday, the Seventh Chaoshan Mountain Plum Festival opened in the North Garden of Hangzhou Chaoshan Mountain Scenic Area. Recently because of the cold weather, flowering will be late this year. It is estimated that the best time for appreciating plum blossom is around the Chinese Spring Festival. But visitors still can search for fun during this festival.

This year from February 1 to mid-March, a series of theme activities will be held in Chaoshan Mountain Scenic Area. On Feb.7, a public benefit activity themed with “Chaoshan Peak mountaineering with love for plum blossom” will be launched, along with a trade show of Plum products in the North Garden. On Mar. 12, several art exhibitions will be held, including painting, calligraphy and photography shows. On the same day a micro-video match will also take place. Besides, in the later period of this plum festival, the 65th anniversary of snoopy cartoon tour will be staged.

From Feb.1, the Hangzhou (Huanglong) Tourist Center provides free shuttle bus to Chaoshan Mountain Scenic Area and Tangqi Water Town.
