The government of Georgia has initiated a new project, which allows international visitors to enter the country and work remotely for six months. This new visa program applies to anyone who wants to stay in the country for a long time and encourages self-employed, remote workers to consider Georgia as a new destination of operations.
Within the work of the project, a foreign citizen, who wishes to enter Georgia for a long-term stay, will need to fill out an online application and obtain appropriate confirmation documents. The program aims to support the country’s tourism industry during the post-pandemic period.
