1. What is a cruise ship?

Cruise ships used to refer to large passenger ships which sail on the sea following designated routes. Currently cruise ships refer to luxury ships used for pleasure voyages which are well equipped with living and entertainment facilities and sail on waters. There are large-sized cruise ships (above 2,000 people), medium-sized cruise ships (1,000-2,000 people) and small-sized cruise ships (less than 1,000 people).
