【Introduction】:LA❤️ provides over 100 special Member promotions for Angelenos who have the means to TravelResponsibly when they feel ready and rediscover all that L.A. has to offer.
Dear Valued Tourism Partner,
I’m excited to share that, with the recent stabilization of key COVID-19 indicators in L.A. County, we’re ready to responsibly jump-start our local tourism economy with the launch this coming Monday of the LA❤️ (pronounced “LA Love”) program, inviting Angelenos to begin planning a “staycation” in their own backyard.
We know the recovery process starts with our own community and LA❤️ represents an opportunity to help put our neighbors, friends and family members back to work, while infusing much-needed revenues back into our beloved City of Angels. In fact, if every employed Angeleno stays just three nights at an L.A. hotel, supports three restaurants and visits three attractions, it would inject $1.4 billion into the local economy and create more than 20,000 jobs.
LA❤️ provides over 100 special Member promotions for Angelenos who have the means to #TravelResponsibly when they feel ready and rediscover all that L.A. has to offer.
Thank you once again to our valued Members who have already submitted their safety protocols and special offers, which will be featured on our DiscoverLosAngeles.com/LALove landing page (live on Monday). It’s not too late to ensure that your business is featured and I encourage you to submit your special offer – which should be valid through the end of the year – by clicking HERE FOR HOTELS or HERE FOR ALL OTHER MEMBERS.
On Monday, we will distribute a comprehensive LA❤️ Program Toolkit to our Members with a variety of assets including our Public Service Announcement (PSA) video, suggested social media copy, infographics and more. We’re relying on all of you to share these materials through your respective communications channels to help amplify this critical recovery message to all of your customers and stakeholders. Please email membercommunications@latourism.org and let us know how you’re pushing out the LA❤️ program so we can track everywhere that Angelenos are seeing our message.
Looking ahead, we have already produced a new digital campaign that will launch in our key drive markets – including Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco – beginning Tuesday, September 7th.
To help ensure that we can achieve a sustained path to recovery, we must remain fully committed to consistently upholding all approved protocols to give guests confidence that they can enjoy a safe and welcoming L.A. experience.
Working together, we can reinvigorate our local economy by collectively showing our LA❤️!
Please see below for this week’s key industry updates and resources.
All my best,
