Cendol and Ice Kacang

Ice Kacang is a popular refreshing dessert and found in many places around Penang. Bowl of shaved ice are usually drenched with different colorful sugar syrup and evaporated milk. Ingredients are made up of sweet red beans, canned jagung (creamy corn), black jelly (leong fun) and canned attap chee (palm seed).

Many people will agree that Kek Seng coffee shop which is in business for the past sixty years is the best place for ice kacang. The ice kacang comes with its colorful signature homemade agar-agar jelly and durian/chocolate ice cream besides other ingredients of sweet red bean and jagung (creamy corn).
