WTCF delegation sought cooperation at Invest Caribbean Now 2014 Summit

In June 2014, senior government officials from Caribbean countries and representatives from the tourism and investment sectors came together to discuss new investment and tourism possibilities for the Caribbean region at the Invest Caribbean Now 2014 Summit. Nearly 200 participants from the tourism and investment sectors of the Beijing municipal government, WTCF, governments in the Caribbean region, and multinational companies.

The Experts Committee of WTCF analyzed the tourism development for city member Yangzhou

In October 2014, the Experts Committee of WTCF traveled to the city member Yangzhou for tourism industrial development survey. Experts shared their opinions on Yangzhou giving further play to its advantages to strengthen the tourism development. This was the first time for WTCF to organize the Experts Committee to “go out” for the analysis of city members in regards to the future tourism development.

WTCF delegation attended WTM 2014 in London

In November 2014, the delegation of WTCF attended World Travel Market 2014 (WTM 2014) in London. As the largest tourism event in the UK, WTM 2014 attracted a large number of countries, tourism institutions and organizations worldwide. Around 50,000 senior travel industry professionals and international media staff participated in the event this year.

During the tourism exhibition, Abuja, capital of Nigeria, applied to be a member of WTCF.
