WTCF attended ITB Berlin 2015 to promote tourism resources of city members

In March 2015, WTCF attended the International Tourism Exchange Berlin 2015 (ITB Berlin 2015) to promote tourism resources of its city members and institutional members with an independent booth, to actively serve its members by seizing such opportunities.

WTCF organized Northeast Asia Cruise Industry International Cooperation Forum 2015 & The 3rd China International Cruise Summit (Qingdao)

In May 2015, the Northeast Asia Cruise Industry International Cooperation Forum 2015 & The 3rd China International Cruise Summit (Qingdao) co-organized by WTCF and China Ports and Harbors Association was held in Qingdao. The event, with the theme of “Cruise Tourism Contributes to Building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, was aimed at promoting the cooperation between tourism cities and cruise companies, and pushing forward the development of cruise tourism industry in Northeast Asia.

WTCF hosted Silk Road Tourism Cooperation Forum and 11th Outbound Tourism Forum

In June 2015, the Silk Road Tourism Cooperation Forum and 11th Outbound Tourism Forum, co-hosted by WTCF and Ivy Alliance Tourism Consulting, was held in Beijing. It was the first time to discuss the research and development of the Silk Road tourism products and regional tourism cooperation from the perspective of Chinese citizen outbound travel. It has brought new connotation and vitality to the Silk Road economic belt and tourism of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

WTCF organized China Smart Cities Investment & Finance Forum for 2015

In July 2015, the China Smart Cities Investment & Finance Forum for 2015, co-hosted by WTCF, China Association of Private Equity and other institutions, was convoked in Beijing. This forum greatly strengthened the awareness of the society of the smart tourism, and was aimed at leading the development of smart communities, transportation, education, medical treatment, elderly caring, etc., with the development of smart tourism, accordingly to guide the whole smart city system to unceasingly improve.

WTCF organized Thousands of Tourists to Magnificent Morocco activity

In August 2015, with support from multiple travel agencies, WTCF organized the Thousands of Tourists to Magnificent Morocco activity, to drive the development the outbound travel market by Chinese citizens to the city members. The purpose of the activity was to enlarge the international influence of the WTCF Rabat & Fez Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2015, to achieve the practical result in the member cooperation and to further promote tourism products of Morocco in the Chinese market.

WTCF won annual WTM World Travel Leaders Award

In November 2015, WTM 2015 was held in London. WTCF won the annual World Travel Leaders Award 2015. The award is aimed at rewarding organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of world travel industry during the year, and has an extremely strong influence on the world travel industry.
