Tui River Cruises will add the largest ship it has ever sailed to its European river fleet for summer 2026.
The newly refurbished ship, Tui Ria, has capacity for 190 passengers across 96 cabins and will operate on the Rhine and Moselle from April 2026.
The ship will be the fourth Tui adult-only ship sailing on European waterways alongside Tui Isla, Tui Maya and Tui Skyla.
Tui Ria will sail six, seven, eight and nine-night itineraries from Amsterdam, Basel and Frankfurt, with three new itineraries: the Moselle & North Rhine tour from Frankfurt, and the North Rhine & Moselle Explorer and Dutch Delta Discovery from Amsterdam.
The Dutch Delta Discovery starts from £1,649 per person based on two adults sharing a deck one cabin on a full-board-plus basis, including flights from Heathrow on June 1, 2026. Tips and transfers are also included.
Full-board-plus will be offered as standard on Tui Ria sailings, which comprises tea, coffee, soft drinks, house wine or beer with meals. Customers have the option to upgrade to all-inclusive for other drinks.
Tui River Cruises will also offer two new direct flights on selected dates and itineraries.
Flights from Bristol to Amsterdam will depart on May 4, June 1 and September 28, 2026, while Newcastle to Frankfurt routes will operate on April 4, 11 and 25, 2026.
There is an early bird offer for the new ship which provides a £50 excursion credit per person for new bookings for Tui Ria made between October 21 and November 1, 2024.
Tui Ria will be the first ship in the fleet to include an onboard pool and retractable roof. The pool can also be turned into a secondary dining and entertainment area thanks to a hydraulic floor.
Tui River Cruises has reported a "strong third year" with a 17% uplift in sales year on year.
Katy Berzins, head of Tui River Cruises, said: "We're thrilled to be expanding our fleet with the addition of the latest ship to sail the European waterways.
"This marks another significant step in the growth of Tui River Cruises, following our second newly refurbished ship announcement in just one month.
She added: "Onboard Tui Ria, guests can enjoy a unique all-weather pool with panoramic views and a versatile venue that transitions from a daytime space to an evening dining and entertainment area.
"These innovative features of Tui Ria, combined with enhanced accessibility from UK regional airports, will strengthen Tui River Cruises' position in the market, offering customers more choice and flexibility in how they choose to sail with us."
