Air China Opens New Route | Copenhagen Spring

What is spring like? The memory of spring is the most beautiful season of a year, with the warmest and most humid wind, the lightest rain, and the most flourishing flowers, and even the most rumbling spring thunder sounds like a symphony... Yet, the spring of Beijing is still a little bit misty. Today, let’s walk out of the mist, and travel to Copenhagen to see the spring in the fairy land of Copenhagen.

Copenhagen's Canals

The canals in Copenhagen will impress you at first sight. You may take a walk along the riverbank, or just get on the GoBoat to airily row about and have a picnic on the boat. The canals in the ancient neighboring district of Christianshavn are glamorous.

Bispebjerg Cemetery

Cherry blossoms flourish here in spring, and numerous tourists come here to appreciate the cherry blossoms. If you also love cherry blossoms, please remember to get up early to arrive here before the “rush hour”, and enjoy yourself in the pink fairyland. After seeing the blossoms, you must visit the Grundtvig's Church on the way, for this is a magnificent Gothic building, which is worth touring.

Langelinie Park

Langelinie Park is another good place to appreciate cherry blossoms. This place is known to the outsiders, not only because of the hometown of the Little Mermaid, but also because of other attractions, with Gefion Fountain being one of them.

Vestre Cemetery

Large numbers of tourists will visit the cemetery in Copenhagen in spring and summer. This is more like a park, for visitors can jog, ride bikes, relax in the park where flowers flourish and the grass is lush and green. Vestre Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Scandinavia, and also an ideal place for people to take a stroll in.

King's Garden

King's Garden is located in the center of Copenhagen, joining Rosenborg Castle, and is really an oasis. This royal garden is a frequent visiting area for people to have outings and picnics. Adults can have a rest here, and children can wholeheartedly enjoy themselves on the green.

Islands Brygge

Since the sunrise, Islands Brygge has already turned dynamic. This is the most popular public space in Copenhagen. Everyone can sunbath, barbecue, or just jump into the sea along the coast to have a good swim, and any of these activities is enjoyable.

Sønder Boulevard

Sønder Boulevard is a dynamic city space in Vesterbro, running through the whole block. Walk forward along this avenue, and you will pass by a garden, a playground, table tennis tables, and a basketball court, and so, lots of people are attracted to the avenue. This is a nice place for you to sit down, relax, and observe the surrounding life.
