Now in its 94th year, the L.A. County Fair (LACF) is one of Southern California's great traditions. Opening Labor Day Weekend, LACF offers entertainment for the entire family, including the largest midway in the nation featuring more than 70 thrilling rides and 40 fun-filled games.

Jurassic Planet is LACF's newest adventure, featuring prehistoric creatures stepping out of books and movies and roaming the lush fairgrounds. Enjoy interactive activities and a walking tour through this lost world. Ages 6 and older are $5 per person.

Our Body: The Universe Within is a fascinating exhibit that showcases actual human bodies and organs. The exhibit literally goes "under the skin," revealing the mysteries of the human anatomy. Ages 6 and older are $5 per person. Children ages 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Esmeralda's Traveling Circus is a real traveling circus complete with crowd-pleasing aerial and side shows throughout the day. Don’t miss the famous Budweiser Clydesdales and other interactive circus skill shows. Shows are free. There is a nominal fee for some attractions, such as the petting zoo, camel rides, Giant Horse, Giant Steer, Miniature Horse and inflatables.

The Igloo features the Polar Ice Rink, a full-service ice skating rink; the Penguin Run, a sledding hill; and the Arctic Promenade which offers a variety of unique products. Cost is $5 per person, including skating and sledding.

America's Kids is an enchanted library where books come to life. From science fiction to history, fantasy, fairy tales and everything in between, every book is a new adventure waiting to be explored. Free and open to all ages.

The Farm at Fairplex is the number one attraction at LACF. Spotlighting agriculture and animals, The Farm is both classroom and live-action entertainment. You can't help but smile at the goats, chickens, pigs and cows. Learn about agriculture in the urban organic farm, which features 150 California specialty crops. Free and open to all ages.

It wouldn't be the L.A. County Fair without the endless array of food! There are hundreds of options, mostly falling into categories like deep-fried, on a stick, ooey, gooey, barbequed, or dipped in chocolate. If you'd rather not indulge, there's yogurt, fresh fruit, smoothies and salads, too.
