Media Group Experiences Cultural Tourism at Shaanxi Tourism Group

The media tour “Witness the 70-year Evolution of China’s Shaanxi” —— Domestic and Overseas Journalists Convene in Shaanxi Tourism Group kicked off on June 24 at Xi’an Tang Dynasty Palace.

Fa Ziling, Deputy Counsel with the Shaanxi Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and Chang Mengchun, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Shaanxi Tourism Group attended the launch ceremony together with over 30 journalists from overseas media outlets including the National Television of Montenegro, TNN24 of Thailand and the Vietnam News Agency and domestic provincial and municipal-level mainstream media outlets.

Co-hosted by Shaanxi’s provincial cyberspace administration and foreign affairs office, the visit to Shaanxi Tourism Group is part of the larger-scaled media tour “Witness the 70-year Evolution of China’s Shaanxi” —— Mainstream Media Outlets Convene in Shaanxi. It’s aimed at drawing more global attention to Shaanxi Tourism Group, presenting the new images of Shaanxi’s cultural tourism sector, expanding the company’s network of international friends, conveying its voice to the world and better telling stories about the province.

From June 24 to 29, the over 30 journalists will visit Xi’an Tang Dynasty Palace, Bai Lu Yuan Studios, Huaqing Palace, Yan'an Holy Land Valley, Yan’an Tang Dynasty Palace, Zhuge Town, Zhouyuan Site and Kongtong Mountain on a tour that combines culture and art with tourism, discovering stories about Shaanxi Tourism Group’s efforts over the past years in the integrated development of culture and tourism and introducing the new images of Shaanxi’s cultural tourism to the world.
