【Introduction】:Travel Weekly s CruiseWorld registration is now open.

This year's event, which takes place Nov. 13 to 15 in Fort Lauderdale, will include exciting general sessions featuring industry leaders, supplier training programs, peer-led workshops, a variety of ship inspections, and a diversified Exhibitor Showcase.

For the second time, The Travel Corporation will also lead a full afternoon of training on their various brands the day before the event, Nov. 12.

Travel advisors looking to attend are encouraged to complete registration early to take advantage of the reduced rate of $125.

Applications are also now open for the highly successful STAR (Select Travel Advisor Recognition) Program, designed to give attendees an enhanced CruiseWorld experience while also offsetting some of the costs of attending. STAR participants also get the added benefit of having individual opportunities to connect face-to-face with suppliers and exhibitors that have committed to supporting this elite group and that are eager to explore new and exciting business development strategies.

Past participants see both short- and long-term success as a result of participating in the STAR Program. "My business has doubled in the months that have passed since I attended CruiseWorld," said 2018 STAR participant Laura Gould of Cruise Planners.

"I owe much of that to what I learned there, the connections I made with partners, and the best practices shared among the other travel agents and industry leaders. The STAR Program facilitated connections during the Exhibitor Showcase with individuals I now consider to be my 'go-to' people!"

Advisors who qualify for the STAR Program and who are selected to participate will receive complimentary registration and complimentary hotel accommodation for two nights. Specific participation requirements are detailed on the CruiseWorld website.

Many CruiseWorld travel advisors are repeat attendees and encourage others to attend year after year. "CruiseWorld is the one and only event to attend if you want to learn more about the industry," said Celeste Auger-Munshi of Indulgent Voyages. "You get the chance to hear from executives, meet with the sales teams and take part in educational opportunities. I'm a longtime attendee, and I never miss it."
