Washington Wizards, founded in 1961, is a team of the NBA east union southeast division, the former name of it is the Baltimore Bullets. It won the first championship during the 1977-78 seasons. Famous stars on the team include Gilbert Arenas and John Wall; Michael Jordan also served at the team during 2001 to 2003.

The home court of Washington Wizards is Verizon Center, originally called MCI, and is the third court in NBA; it is also the joint home court of NHL Washington Capitals and WNBA Washington Mysics.
