Yueshan Baji Quan

Yueshan Baji Quan enjoys equal popularity with Shaolin Quan and Taiji Quan. It is a representative of masculine Chinese traditional martial arts. This 800-year old martial art is created by the second abbot of Yueshan Temple, Monk Canggong. Yueshan Baji Quan is straightforward and simple, strong and fierce, totally different from the slow and calm Taiji Quan.

Yueshan Baji Quan was listed on the second batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage on June 14, 2008.
