Shopping: if you go to Kunming flower market when it’s closing, the price will be only one fifth of that in mainland or even lower.

Sunscreen: Kunming is 1,900 meters above sea level, and has strong ultraviolet, so sunscreen cream is needed while shopping.

Temperature: Kunming has a huge daily temperature difference, and there are four seasons in one day, so a windproof coat is very much needed; you need to prepare warm clothes when traveling in Kunming during autumn and winter.

Diet: the temperature of rice noodle soup is higher than 80 °C, so don’t taste it immediately after it is served, otherwise it will burn your lips.
