Qingdao Customs & Religion

Taoist, Buddhist, Catholic, Christianity and Islam, are the five kinds of religions practiced here. During ancient times, people mainly practiced Taoism and Buddhism. The rise of religion attracted some monks to wander to Laoshan Mountain, Dazhushan Mountain, Dazeshan Mountain and etc. many men of literature and writing have been attracted to roam throughout Qingdao.
