Jiaotai Porcelain, also called “Touhua Porcelain,” originated from the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), and flourished in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). It was produced in Dangyangyu Village of Xiuwu County, in Henan Province. It’s calcinated of petuntse with at least three colors. It is an intangible cultural heritage of Henan Province. Jiaotai Porcelain is the same inside and outside. However, different pieces of porcelain have distinctive bases, which can’t be duplicated.
