Nanping Street

Nanping Street in downtown Kunming is the single biggest and most popular area in Kunming, in which the main section is around 700 meters long. It is an important and significant destination for visitors to the city as it showcases Kunming’s history, culture and customs in past centuries. On display in the street are 10 masterpieces of public art which are locally known as “The Home of Old Kunming” which truly provides a lasting memory of Kunming. Around this street are quite a few emporiums including the Kunming Department Store, Carrefour and the Shuncheng Shopping Mall. It is one of the busiest places in a really busy place in a busy city.
