【Introduction】：Shennong Mountain Scenic Areat is located at the south foot of Taihang Mountains, 23 km away from Northwest Qinyang, Henan province.

Shennong Mountain Scenic Areat is located at the south foot of Taihang Mountains, 23 km away from Northwest Qinyang, Henan province. According to Chinese legend, Shennong (Yan Emperor) stayed here to taste hundreds of herbs, identify grains and set up an altar to pray to heaven. Hence, the area got such a name. Covering an area of 90 square kilometers, Shennong Mountain has beautiful scenery featured by unique “Dragon Keel Great Wall” and profound culture of Shennong, Taoism, and Buddhism. As the birthplace of Taoist Shangqing School, it has also been titled as Global Geopark, National 5A Tourist Attraction, National Park of China, and National Macaque Natural Reserve.
