【Introduction】:Here, you can see polar animals and oceanic fishes such as polar bears, penguins, and skates
Here, you can see polar animals and oceanic fishes such as polar bears, penguins, and skates. Besides, you can watch the unique and romantic beluga show “The Heart of Ocean” performed by two belugas (Mila and Nicola) and their female trainers.
In spite of a small size, the two-storied Harbin Polarland creates various interesting scenes. Walking directing from the entrance to the second floor, you can see a hunter’s hut, a windmill and a waterwheel which are typical of the Great Khingan Mountains, a scene which imitates the Fisherman’s Wharf of America’s San Francisco, the “Sun Island” cruise which provides a view of different kinds of coral fishes, and a homeland for polar animals such as seals and polar foxes.
Back to the first floor, you can watch an underwater show performed by belugas and see jellyfishes which swim in a cylindrical tank. Walking to the “Undersea Train”, you can catch a sight of sharks, sea turtles, various fishes, and rare wonderful performances by trainers and skates through the window. Additionally, you can go to the Joyous Kingdom of Sea Lion to enjoy humorous performances by sea lions and walruses.
Tips:
1. Each beluga show is divided into on-water and underwater performances. When there are many travelers, it is recommended to go downstairs directly to watch more wonderful underwater performances.
2. Harbin Polarland features a dining area where you can enjoy fast food, grilled squids, fish slices and other freshly-made food. And it has a market which sells expensive souvenirs such as plush toys.
3. Free short-distance shuttle buses run between Harbin Polarland and Ice and Snow World. You can take a shuttle bus with a ticket to Harbin Polarland.
