Passenger throughput of Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport up to 890,000 in first 10 months

From January to Octobor, the number of passengers at Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport reached 890,000, up 13.57 percent year on year. The number of passengers has hit a record high, which has laid a solid foundation for the goal of annual passenger throughput exceeding 1 million, and provided strong support for Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport to develop into a leading airport in Heilongjiang Province.

Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport has been scientifically planning flights and routes, continuously optimising aviation network and increasing airline capacity. During the Spring Festival and summer holiday, the airport has increased the number of flights to meet the passengers’ travel needs. Among them, the passenger throughput during the summer holiday was 195,000, up 15.84 percent year on year, hitting a record high. During the Qingming Festival, May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, the passenger throughputs have also achieved year on year growth. At the end of last year, Harbin-Mudanjiang High-speed Railway was opened, resulting in the passenger throughput of the airport continue to rise. Starting from October 27, Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport has executed new season flight schedules, operating 19 flights per week. It is worth mentioning that China United Airlines has opened Mudanjiang-Yingkou-Beijing Daxing International Airport route. Up to now, the airport has launched flight to many popular destinations like Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jinan, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Dalian. It is estimated that the annual passenger throughput of Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport will get to 1.04 million.

At present, Mudanjiang International Airport has continued to increase its efforts in various transportation tasks, focusing on the transportation guarantee during the snow time, placing safe transportation in the first place, improving emergency plans and early warning of flight delays, strengthen communication with airlines, properly resettle passengers as soon as possible, ensure the safe and smooth travel of passengers to the greatest extent, and further improve the level of passenger service. Mudanjiang Wave International Airport has launched 13 routes, with 79 flights per week, linking 12 domestic and international cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Jinan, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Yantai, Dalian, Yingkou and Seoul.
